HC4V pilot programs for veterans and active duty service members can be found in military and veteran service organizations worldwide. Each program is unique.

» Providers must be serving military service members
or veterans under military or VA contract.
» Providers commit to following the HC4V guidelines for
evaluation, functional testing, client training, symptom
tracking and videotaping, to the greatest extent possible.
» Providers share the greater goal to raise awareness of the potential for PTSD remediation through
neurofeedback, either within their organization, through research, or externally with HC4V by sharing
information about their work.

Military and VA contractors receive the following from HC4V:
» Basic training seminars and practicum training for clinicians at 50% cost
(est. $695 and $199 respectively).
» Neurofeedback systems at lowest basic cost (est. $5,000 – $7,000)
» Free technical support
» Free consultations and clinical supervision with EEG Institute clinicians
» Free subscription to EEG Expert symptom tracking software
» Free access to educational and industry updates as member of EEG online community

 

Private Clinicians

HC4V pilot programs for veterans and active duty service members can be found in clinics, at facilities, and within organizations. Each program is unique.

» Providers are committed to treating each client for a minimum of 20 sessions.
» Providers commit to being an HC4V provider.
» Providers commit to following the HC4V guidelines for evaluation, functional testing, client training,
symptom tracking and videotaping.
» Providers share the greater goal to raise awareness of the potential for PTSD remediation through
neurofeedback within their organization, through research, and externally with HC4V by sharing
information and data about their work.

HC4V provides the following for all those willing to treat veterans at no cost:
» Basic training seminars for clinicians at 20% discount (est. $1,036)
» Neurofeedback systems at lowest basic cost (est. $5,000 – $7,000)
» Free technical support
» Professional listing in the HC4V Directory of participating providers

 

Underwriting for HC4V Pilot Programs

HC4V provides $400,000 in underwriting for resources and training annually for HC4V Pilot Programs to treat veterans with Neurofeedback. Up to 4 programs per year are underwritten by HC4V, including the following for each:

» Up to 10 basic training seminars at no cost for clinicians
» Up to 10 neurofeedback systems at no cost
» Free technical support
» Free consultations and clinical supervision with EEG Institute clinicians
» Free subscription to EEG symptom tracking software
» Free access to educational and industry updates as member of EEG online community
» Spaces are available at 50% rate for practicum weekends

Providers in the grant programs agree to the following:
» Providers are committed to treating each client for a minimum of 20 sessions.
» Providers commit to being an HC4V provider.
» Providers commit to following the HC4V guidelines for evaluation, functional testing, client training,
symptom tracking and videotaping.
» Providers share the greater goal to raise awareness of the potential for PTSD remediation through
neurofeedback within their organization, through research, and externally with HC4V by sharing
information and data from their work.

To apply for an HC4V grant, please submit a proposal for your neurofeedback program that
describes the following:

» the shape and scope of the proposed program
» the number of veterans, active duty service members and other potential beneficiaries
of neurofeedback, who will be served by your program
» a plan for growth
» a plan for data collection
» how your program might be publicized
» how your program will impact society
» why we should choose you
